Summerlicious is a fantastic Toronto based event, presented by American Express, where 150 restaurants across the city offer three-course prix fixe menus from July 9 - 25. Summerlicious is a time where people can discover new restaurants while not necessarily breaking the bank in the process.
Summerlicious menus are priced as:
$15, $20 or $25 lunch menus
$25, $35 or $45 dinner menus
Reservations can be made starting June 24th but, if you are a American Express cardholder you can go to Front of The Line to book early reservations on June 22 & 23. Summerlicious usually is super busy, so I definitely suggest making a reservation, especially for places like Mark McEwan's Bymark or Canoe.
On the website for Summerlicious there is a complete restaurant guide, but they have made it even easier. You can now choose type of cuisine, neighborhood, restaurant name or price to help narrow your search! Here are a few of the participating restaurants; Bar Italia, Centro, Drake Hotel, Globe Bistro, Jump, Kultura (see older blog post for details on this restaurant), Pangea, Sassafraz, and Starfish.
Do NOT miss this amazing event! Torontonians take advantage of all the delicious food our city has to offer. The prices are unbeatable and for many of these restaurants its a steal for the food you will be tasting! I can't wait for it to start! Welcome Summer!
